How does Visions use a "multi-tier enterprise solution"?
Visions uses a powerful, yet user-friendly, Windows environment for simple installations and maintenance of all clients. Thin client technology ensures optimized network traffic, simplifies deployment and requires less computing power on the client workstations. In the middle tier, a Visions server controls the client access to the database and is used to apply business rules. The database tier uses an Oracle server to control data integrity and ensure performance.
